The largest voter contact organization in the country is strategically hiring for a wide variety of roles in preparation for 2022 electoral victories.  The MOST IMPORTANT, most impactful thing we can do to make progress and reverse damages done by republicans and a corrupted Supreme Court, is to systematically plan for every eligible voter to be counted. About PTP:  Progressive Turnout Project is the largest voter contact organization in the country. Our mission: Get Democrats to vote. We design, test, and execute specialized voter turnout programs targeting inconsistent Democratic voters in the most competitive elections up and down the ballot. Since 2015, our trained Field staff, Fellows, and volunteers have made more than 59 million voter contact attempts across 39 states. Regional Volunteer Coordinator -- Western Time Zones

Reporting to the National Distributed Organizing Director, the Regional Volunteer Coordinators are responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of volunteer engagement work for PTP’s Distributed and Relational Organizing program. This includes conducting outreach to partner organizations in states within their assigned geographic region and coordinating both distributed and relational volunteer opportunities leading up to Election Day. The RVC coordinates all aspects of volunteer engagement - conducting outreach to partner organizations, providing them with either the distributed or relational tools they need to contact voters within their own networks or in their communities, holding remote live training sessions, and providing them with any additional support or resources they need.

State Distributed Organizing Director(s)

The State Distributed Organizing Director will be responsible for implementing and managing the distributed organizing efforts within your assigned state and directly supervising up to 6 Field Representative Organizers (FROs) on the ground. This role will act as the point of contact and conduit of information between HQ staff and our teams on-the-ground, ensuring programmatic goals are being met at every part of the process (recruitment, interviews, onboarding, auditing and committing data in miniVAN, and persistent follow-up throughout) and that FROs are supporting our contracted Field Representatives efforts effectively.

State Relational Organizing Director(s)

Progressive Turnout Project (PTP) seeks applicants for the Relational Organizing State Program Director role to oversee the on-the-ground efforts of the relational community mobilizer program in your assigned state. This work will be based on PTP’s successful pilot program in Virginia in 2021 (which was modeled after the groundbreaking work done by the Jon Ossoff for U.S. Senate runoff campaign). Manage staff in-state and act as the point of contact and conduit of information between HQ staff and the staff on-the-ground to ensure programmatic goals are being met in-state and being proactive in communication with HQ.

State Interviewing Coordinator(s)

State Interviewing Coordinators will be responsible for implementing and overseeing the application, online vetting, and interview process of contractors in their assigned state(s).  This includes collaborating with the state directors for the Relational Organizing Program, Distributed Organizing Program, and Onboarding team, to put systems in place to track, evaluate, and interview contractor candidates within an intense, quickly-moving program. All members of the interviewing team will be primarily responsible for conducting interviews with candidates, as well as coordinating the interviews for other assigned interviewers from the Relational and Distributed teams.

State Onboarding Coordinator(s)

State Onboarding Coordinators will be responsible for implementing and overseeing the process for onboarding and offboarding contractors in their assigned state(s). This includes collaborating with the state directors for the Relational Organizing Program, Distributed Organizing Program, and Interviewing team, to put systems in place to track, onboard, and offboard contractor candidates within an intense, quickly-moving program. All members of the onboarding team will also be responsible for conducting interviews with candidates, as well as completely own the success of tax form collection, inviting to onboarding sessions, and troubleshooting the onboarding workflow.

Deputy Data Director of Engineering

Progressive Turnout Project (PTP) seeks applicants for the Deputy Data Director of Engineering (DDDE) to assist in building out core pipelines and automation workflows in support of PTP's Relational and Distributed Organizing Programs across multiple key Senate battleground states, likely including Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The DDDE will work closely with the Field and Data teams in order to build out mission-critical systems and pipelines that allow for canvassers to receive turf assignments in an automated fashion. Additionally, the DDDE will oversee the creation of a number of automated systems in order to streamline a number of aspects of PTP’s voter contact workflows.

Progressive Turnout Project (PTP) seeks applicants for the Deputy Distributed Organizing Director role for the 2022 midterm election cycle who are passionate about assisting in developing and supporting direct voter contact programs.   The Deputy Distributed Organizing Director will assist the National Distributed Organizing Director manage the day-to-day operations of the Distributed Organizing program for the 2022 election cycle across multiple Senate battleground states nationwide.  This program will be modeled off of prior campaigns that have tried this form of organizing in past cycles including Beto O’Rourke’s 2018 campaign in Texas and Elizabeth Warren’s efforts in the 2020 presidential primaries.
