Patrick Pannett

Patrick Pannett provides communication, government affairs, and advocacy campaign management experience on behalf of campaigns and clients in all industries, both domestic and international.

A veteran of Democratic political campaigns, Pannett has extensive background advising political and issue campaigns at the state and federal levels. He was the paid voter communications director for Kerry-Edwards 2004 in Pennsylvania, and a whip at the 2008 Democratic National Convention.

For technology startups, and public affairs initiatives, Pannett consistently generates wins in response to the most complex and pressing policy, regulatory, political, and marketing challenges for some of the world’s best-known brands.

He serves as a volunteer national crisis communicator of the American Red Cross advanced public affairs team and National Capital Region.

As vice-president at the crisis firm Levick, he led a key international engagement, in addition to expanding the firm's advocacy capabilities and offerings. During his tenure as vice-president of public affairs at the District-based start-up BlastRoots, Pannett worked at the intersection of lobbying and technology, leveraging a next-generation advocacy platform to support multifarious action on policy issues. Prior to BlastRoots, he was a director at the DCI Group serving on clients’ internal leadership teams to develop and execute campaigns to address their critical communications and public policy needs.

While in charge of day-to-day field operations at WPP's Direct Impact, Pannett managed numerous national legislative, political, marketing, and communications campaigns – overseeing field team and lobbyist activities, implementing grassroots campaign strategies, and providing strategic counsel.
